Am kommenden Donnerstag, 13.05.2021, beginnt für Muslime das Ramadanfest (Id al- Fitr, Ramazan Bayramı, Fastenbrechenfest). Damit endet die gesegnete Fastenzeit. Es ist eines der beiden hohen Feste im Islam.

KRM-Sprecher Erol Pürlü sagte hierzu: „Wir wünschen allen Muslimen ein friedvolles und besinnliches Ramadanfest. Zum zweiten Mal in Folge erleben wir ein Ramadanfest unter besonderen pandemischen Umständen. Gemeinschaft sowie gemeinsames Feiern sind in diesen Zeiten nur eingeschränkt möglich. Ich danke allen Muslimen für ihr verständnisvolles Ausharren und Geduld, die sie in dieser schwierigen Zeit zutage bringen. Möge Allah Ta’ala sie alle belohnen und die Last der Pandemie von uns nehmen. Achten Sie aufeinander und bleiben Sie gesund!“

Traditionell wird das Ramadanfest mit dem Festgebet (salat al-id) früh am Morgen in der Moschee eingeleitet. Danach beglückwünschen sich Muslime, beschenken Kinder und besuchen Familienangehörige, Verwandte und Freunde. Feste gelten als Tage des Feierns, des Friedens, der Versöhnung und der Solidarität mit Armen, Schwachen und älteren Menschen.

Das Festgebet wird in den Moscheegemeinden unter Einhaltung der Hygienemaßnahmen stattfinden. Dazu gehören weiterhin Abstandsregeln, Vornahme der rituellen Waschung zuhause, Mitbringen des eigenen Gebetsteppichs, medizinischer Mund- und Nasenschutz während des ganzen Aufenthalts in der Moschee. Aus Kapazitätsgründen müssen sich jedoch Besucher vorher bei ihrer örtlichen Moscheegemeinde zwecks Teilnahme informieren und gegebenenfalls anmelden.

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation ist Feiern und gegenseitige Besuche durch Maßnahmen sehr eingeschränkt möglich. Daher sollten die Kommunikationsmedien genutzt werden, um Freunde, Bekannte und Verwandte zum Fest zu gratulieren. Von Händeschütteln und Umarmungen ist abzusehen.
