Der KRM spricht den muslimischen Akteurinnen und Akteuren in Berlin angesichts der jüngsten ausschweifenden staatlichen Maßnahmen Mut zu. Mit einem Aufgebot von zahlreichen schwer bewaffneten Polizisten ging die Berliner Staatsanwaltschaft in den letzten Wochen bei mittlerweile fünf Moscheen, zuletzt die Neuköllner Begegnungsstätte am 27.11.2020, dem Vorwurf des Corona-Subventionsbetrugs nach. 

“Die Kette von Razzien gegen Moscheen entbehrt jeder rechtsstaatlichen Verhältnismäßigkeit”, so KRM-Sprecher Burhan Kesici. Wer ausschließlich bei einer einzigen religiösen Minderheit mit einer solchen Härte vorgeht, trägt maßgeblich zu ihrer öffentlichen Kriminalisierung und Stigmatisierung bei. “Religionsgemeinschaften sind bewährter Partner des Staates im Erhalt des gesellschaftlichen Friedens. Die Razzien sind eine unnötige Eskalation, die problemlos auf dem Schriftweg hätte vermieden werden können”, so Kesici weiter. Die Moscheegemeinden haben nach bestem Wissen und Gewissen gehandelt; ob die gewährten Subventionshilfen irrtümlich ausgezahlt wurden, wird über den Rechtsweg zu klären sein.  

Trotz des immensen Vertrauensbruchs, ruft der KRM die muslimischen Religionsgemeinschaften in Deutschland dazu auf, sich weder in der Gemeindearbeit noch in der Kooperation mit der Gesellschaft entmutigen zu lassen.
