„Der Anschlag in Wien erschüttert uns. Unsere Gedanken sind bei den Betroffenen“, erklärt Burhan Kesici, Sprecher des Koordinationsrates der Muslime (KRM). Anlass ist der Terroranschlag in Wien, bei der mehrere Personen getötet und verletzt wurden.

Burhan Kesici weiter: „Wir sind tief erschüttert über den Terrorangriff in Wien, der mutmaßlich durch einen ISIS-Sympathisanten durchgeführt wurde. Der Anschlag macht uns fassungslos. Wir sind in Gedanken und in unseren Gebeten bei den Opferfamilien, den Verletzten, ihren Angehörigen sowie bei allen Wienerinnen und Wienern und Österreicherinnen und Österreichern.

Die Täter zielen mit ihren Anschlägen auch darauf ab, unsere Gesellschaft zu spalten, unseren Zusammenhalt zu brechen. Daher gilt es umso mehr, unsere Reihen zu schließen und zu stärken. Wir werden uns geschlossen und mit aller Entschlossenheit gegen das Gedankengut dieser menschenfeindlichen Extremisten stellen. Sie haben in unseren Reihen keinen Platz.“
