„Es ist entsetzlich, mit welcher Grausamkeit Anschläge in Gotteshäusern verübt werden. Dafür kann es niemals eine Rechtfertigung geben. Mein Mitgefühl gelten den Opfern und ihren Angehörigen in Nizza.

Mit großer Sorge verfolgt der KRM die Ereignisse der letzten Wochen in Frankreich und ruft zu Besonnenheit im Umgang miteinander auf. Er appelliert an die Politik und die Zivilgesellschaft, das friedliche Miteinander in den Mittelpunkt des Handelns zu stellen. Solche Attentate sollen auch immer provozieren und sind auf eine Störung des gesellschaftlichen Friedens ausgerichtet.
