Der Koordinationsrat der Muslime (KRM) begrüßt die Beschlüsse der Bund-Länder-Konferenz. Die Ermöglichung von Gottesdiensten wird dem Stellenwert der Religionsfreiheit gerecht und ein wichtiges Signal für die Gesellschaft. Der KRM hat im Lichte dieser Entscheidung beraten und eine schrittweise Öffnung der Moscheen für Gottesdienste unter Auflagen beschlossen.

Die Mitglieder des KRM und ihre Moscheegemeinden werden die ersten Gottesdienste ab dem 9. Mai durchführen.

„Wir haben diese Entscheidung mit bestem Wissen und Gewissen sowie aus religiöser und bürgerlicher Verantwortung zum Schutz von Gesundheit und Menschenleben getroffen. Möge Allah unser Land, unsere Gesellschaft sowie die gesamte Menschheit vom Übel dieser Pandemie befreien“, erklärt KRM-Sprecher Burhan Kesici. 

Zunächst werden nur drei der fünf täglichen Gebetszeiten (Morgen, Mittag, Nachmittag) durchgeführt unter strikter Einhaltung der vom KRM erarbeiteten und von Behörden sowie dem Robert Koch Institut begutachteten Vorgaben. 

Diese sind unter anderem: Begrenzung der Besucherzahl, Abstands- und Maskenpflicht, der Situation angepasste Hygienemaßnahmen, Erfassung von Besuchernamen. Außerdem bringen die Besucher ihre eigenen Gebetsteppiche mit. Besonders stark frequentierte Gebete (Nachtgebete im Ramadan (Terawih), Freitags- und Festtagsgebete) bleiben weiter ausgesetzt.

Die Vorgaben werden fortlaufend überwacht und gegebenenfalls ergänzt. „Wir werden diesen Beschluss nach der nächsten Bund- Länderkonferenz am 6. Mai im Lichte der dann aktuellen Erkenntnisse und Empfehlungen einer erneuten Prüfung unterziehen und bei Bedarf anpassen“, erklärt Burhan Kesici abschließend.
