Der gestrige Mittwoch wird als ein schwarzer Tag in die Geschichte Deutschlands eingehen. In Hanau hat ein Angreifer auf niederträchtigste Weise insgesamt zehn Menschen getötet und weitere schwer verletzt, bevor ihn die Polizei tot in einer Wohnung auffand. Unsere Gedanken und Gebete sind bei den Opfern und ihren Angehörigen. Möge Allah sich der Getöteten in seiner Gnade annehmen und den Angehörigen Geduld und Kraft spenden in dieser für sie schwierigen Zeit.

Die Orte des unsäglichen Terrorangriffs, wie auch das Bekennerschreiben zeigen, dass der Terror eine bestimmte Zielgruppe hatte. Nämlich Migranten, insbesondere Muslime. 

Vor diesem rechten Terror hatten wir seit Wochen und Monaten gemahnt und gefordert, gegen die rechte Hetze und gegen Islamfeindlichkeit deutlich Stellung zu beziehen. Ebenso hatten wir gemahnt, dass der Terror uns alle bedroht. Muslime wie Nichtmuslime.

Der Anschlag in Hanau zeigt, dass durch die rechte Hetze nicht nur Terrorgruppen wie „Gruppe S.“, sondern auch Einzelne sich davon ermutigt fühlen können, Gewalt und Terror zu verbreiten. 

„Unsere Mahnungen wurden überhört. Der Terror hat zugeschlagen. Es ist jetzt die Zeit, zusammen zu rücken und zusammen zu stehen. Gegen Hass und gegen Gewalt, von wo sie auch kommt. Die Politik hat zu lange das Problem der rechten Gewalt unterschätzt. Die Zeit für Worte ist vorbei. Wir fordern Politik, Behörden auf zu handeln. Wir rufen alle Akteure der Gesellschaft auf, ein Zeichen setzen. Ein Zeichen der Solidarität mit den Opfern rechter Hetze und rechten Terrors. Den Familien der Opfer bekunde ich mein Beileid. Unsere Gebete sind mit ihnen“ sagte KRM Sprecher Dr. Zekeriya Altuğ heute morgen angesichts des Terrorangriffs. 

Der KRM wird sich zeitnah mit Politik und zivilen Akteuren beraten, um eine Gedenk- und Mahnveranstaltung zu organisieren.
